Usage
- For Parting & Sectioning: Use the tail end of the comb to create clean, precise lines in the hair. Place the tip of the tail at the desired starting point of your part and draw it smoothly through the hair to the end. Use the tail to lift and separate sections of hair for coloring, cutting, or styling.
- For Smoothing & Detangling: Use the fine-tooth end to gently comb through small sections of hair, removing tangles and ensuring every strand is smooth and aligned. This is ideal for prepping hair for updos or intricate styles.
- For Keratin Bond Residue Removal: After applying keratin bond remover solution and breaking down the bonds, gently use the fine-tooth end of the comb. Slowly and carefully comb through the small sections of hair where the keratin residue remains. The fine teeth will help to loosen and pull out the softened keratin particles, leaving the natural hair clean.
- For Backcombing (Teasing): Insert the fine-tooth end into a section of hair close to the scalp. Push the comb down towards the roots in short, firm strokes to create volume.
- For Weaving/Foiling: When doing highlights or lowlights, use the tail to finely weave out sections of hair for your foils.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any hair caught in the comb. If used with keratin remover, clean immediately. Wash with warm water and a mild soap, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. For salon use, disinfect according to professional hygiene standards.
Pro Tip: For effective keratin residue removal, work in small sections and be gentle. The fine teeth provide the necessary precision for a thorough clean-up without excessive pulling.
