Usage

• Prepare Hair: Ensure hair strands for bonding are clean, dry, and sectioned appropriately.
• Select Plier Size: Choose the plier size that corresponds to the desired gram weight or thickness of your keratin bond. Using the correct size ensures an optimal flat finish.
• For Re-tipping/Making New Bonds: Place a small amount of keratin granule/stick onto the prepared hair strand or existing extension tip /  Using a fusion connector or heat tool, gently melt the keratin. / While the keratin is still warm and pliable, immediately place the melted keratin between the flat jaws of your chosen plier. /Apply even, firm pressure to compress and mold the keratin into a flat, smooth bond. Hold briefly until the keratin cools and sets in the desired shape.
• For Application (with pre-tipped flat bonds): Place a pre-tipped flat keratin extension under a section of natural hair. / Use a fusion connector or heat tool to melt the keratin bond on the extension. / While the keratin is warm, use the Flat Keratin Pliers to gently re-compress the bond, ensuring it completely encapsulates the natural hair and maintains its flat, seamless shape against the head. This reinforces the bond and flattens any slight bulges from melting.
• Cooling: Allow the bond to cool completely before styling or handling to ensure maximum durability.
• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the plier jaws clean with an alcohol wipe while they are cool, to remove any keratin residue and maintain precision.
